Hayek e Orwell pt III

Pelos vistos não fui o único a notar as semlhanças entre "The End of Truth" e "1984". Greg Ransom do Presto Pundit escreve o seguinte:

"I've always been convinced that this theme [o "doublespeak"] in Orwell was much inspired by his reading of Hayek's chapter eleven, "The End of Truth" in The Road to Serfdom. Orwell read and reviewed Hayek's book in 1944, during during the period in which he was writing 1984."
