A Reforma do PEC
O Bundesbank (o banco central alemão) anunciou estar contra as propostas de revisão do PEC avançadas pela Comissão Europeia.
"The Bundesbank is of the opinion that the proposed changes will not strengthen but weaken the stability pact."
(...)
"[The plans] will reduce the incentive for euro zone countries to pursue solid budget policies and, at the same time, send a wrong signal to those countries that have not yet adopted the single currency".
Estas declarações vão contra o desejo expresso do governo alemão que foi um dos maiores apoiantes da revisão do PEC.
